The Gondola

Offers trips on Lake Coniston in a fabulous steam powered boat that was restored afterlying on the bed of the lake for years

On the shore of the lake the boating centre has sailing, solar-electric and rowing boats for hire.

Brantwood       The home of Ruskin, has a large collection of his works on display. The house and gardens are open for viewing. Afternoon tea and meals are available at Spinning Jenny's in the grounds of the house.

The Ruskin Museum

Ruskin museum has a comprehensive history of the Coniston area.

The museum is at present raising funds to enable Bluebird (Donald Campbell's famous world speed record boat) to be restored and put on view

Coniston Brewery

At the rear of the BLACK BULL is Coniston Brewery.

Their Bluebird Bitter is well liked around the country.
