Holiday Cottage and Apartments in the Heart of the Lake District

Coniston Village from across the lake
The village of Coniston lies at the head of Coniston Water in the heart of
the LAKE DISTRICT NATIONAL PARK.
It is a small village but has all the amenities for a most enjoyable holiday.
The village has five pubs all serving bar snacks and meals, there are two or
three cafes and a Co-op, Spar and local general store stock a good range of
supplies.
The lake shore is about half a mile from the village centre and here you can
hire electric boats, rowing boats and sailing boats or launch your own.
For those who enjoy walking the fells and hills are right on the doorstep,
with Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam for those who enjoy a more strenuous
walk.
THURSTON HOUSE is in the centre of the village and consists of a large
Victorian house now converted into seven self contained units sleeping from 2 to
6 persons.
THURSTON VIEW is a beautifully restored cottage in an elevated position with
panoramic views of the lake and Grizedale Forest to the other side.
